Emmon and Janet Scott

Hi! My name is Emmon and I work with great coworkers at a fantastic outdoor products company, Arden. Our main products are outdoor patio cushions, and I’m thrilled to be part of a team that designs new products.

I used to be a reporter for a city newspaper, and later on a product designer. I started this site to ask gardeners about planters, but over time it morphed into a garden news site, a place to and share ideas and conversation!

This is my wife, Janet (also a former journalist), who advises me on most of what I do on this site!
